The true challenge now is to negotiate the new conditions for the habitability of planet Earth. At the helm of the Strelka Institute, sociologist Benjamin Bratton seeks new tools at the intersection of art and geoengineering.
Greek architect Areti Markopoulou, who is the Academic Director of the IAAC, looks for solutions that can combine decentralised community processes with models based on predictive engineering and statistics, in order to construct horizontal urban spaces that can be optimally inhabited.
