Sociologist and cooperative member at La Ciutat Invisible

His passion for the working-class and social history of Barcelona’s neighbourhoods has led him to popularise the Catalan cooperative experience and propose other ways of thinking and living in the city. With other authors he has written Treball, valors i canvi. Les ruptures de la precarietat (2001), Barcelona marca registrada. Un model a desarmar (2004), De la protesta al contrapoder (2007), Construint municipi des dels moviments socials (2010), Les cooperatives obreres de Sants (2010), Les veus de les places (2011), Fer el saltCooperativisme i economia solidària (2012), Joan Rovira i Marqués. El cooperativisme obrer i col·lectivista (2014). Awarded the Youth Sociology Prize by the Generalitat of Catalonia, he teaches History of Cooperativism and Social and Solidarity Economy, contributes to La Directa and is a member of the Solidarity Economy Network.
