Joana Moll

Artist and researcher, co-founder of the group Critical Interface Politics

An artist and researcher, Joana divides her time between Berlin and Barcelona. Her work critically explores how post-capitalist narratives affect machine, human and ecosystem literacy. Her main lines of research include the materiality of the Internet, surveillance, social profile analysis and interfaces. 

She has presented, exhibited and published her work in different museums, art centres, universities, festivals and publications around the world. She is co-founder of the research group Critical Interface Politics, based in Hangar, and co-director of the Institute for the Advancement of Popular Automatisms. Currently, she is a guest professor at the University of Potsdam and the Superior School of Art in Vic.
