Simona Levi

Artist, researcher and activist

Theatre director, dramatist, techno-political strategist, multidisciplinary artist, researcher and educator. As an activist in recent years she has focused on democratic renewal in the digital age and free culture, the strategic use of digital tools for organisations, techno-political communications, collective initiatives and the fight against State corruption.

Having launched projects such as Xnet and 15MpaRato, which led to the trial of Bankia’s top management, she co-directs the postgraduate course at the BSM-UPF on Techno-Politics and Rights in the Digital Era.

Her plays have been performed in theatres and at festivals all round Europe and she has created festivals, such as OXcars and InnMotion, that have had a big impact. She is the co-author of books such as Votar y cobrar. La impunidad como forma de gobierno (2017) – together with Sergio Salgado – and #FAKE YOU – Fake News i Desinformació (2019).
