Different feminist positions have treated women as passive victims of technology. In this sense, xenofeminism is introduced as a reformist trend which is increasingly recognised as having emancipatory potential. It aims to create strategies that are up to par for today’s world of accelerated virtualisation.
This debate will address how the body has acquired new scales of reality and habitability in digital environments, taking the domestic setting as a starting point to think of the cloud as a home for our data bodies.
