A feminist activist and xenofeminist movement reference, she is the Associate Professor of Media and Communication at the University of West London. Her research interests include techno-feminism, studies on sexuality and social reproduction theories. Member of the international feminist collective Laboria Cuboniks, made up of women experts in various fields of knowledge: visual arts, programming, philosophy, archaeology and design

She is the author of Beyond Explicit: Pornography and the Displacement of Sex (2014) and Xenofeminismo: tecnologies de genero y políticas de reproducción (2018), among other works, and is the coeditor of the collections Fat Sex: New Directions in Theory and Activism (Ashgate, 2015) and Dea ex Machina (Merve, 2015 ).
