Roi Salgueiro

Research scientist and lecturer at the MIT School of Architecture

Research scientist and lecturer at the MIT School of Architecture. He is currently the Assistant Curator for the 17th Venice Biennale of Architecture.

His research focuses on the role of architecture and urban planning on a territorial and global scale, based on two lines of investigation: the analysis of contemporary urban patterns that relate geography and urban planning, and the construction of a disciplinary framework that links architectural design to geographical research.

He is the author of The World as An Architectural Project, as well as a number of articles in magazines, such as The Journal of Architectural Education, New Geographies, San Rocco and Carth. His research has been presented at a number of conferences and exhibited internationally.
