Architect and associate professor in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - Barcelona Tech. Founding member of the Cíclica - Space, Community & Ecology studio, her field of research focuses on sustainability in landscape and urban planning, transformation of the social metabolism, both in its regional implications and in the city, and theory in ecological urbanism and landscape ecology. She has worked on landscapes, public spaces and sustainability with Aldayjover Arquitectura y Paisaje SL (2003-2008), at NIUAArquitectes SL (2007-2008) as a founding member and from time to time in collaboration with other professionals and firms. 

Her thesis, Productive Urban Landscapes: The role of green urban spaces towards a re-organic social metabolism, explores the potential of urban green spaces for assuming productive, sustainabilist functionalities, and for facilitating a circular management of the social metabolism, in particular the dynamics of water materials and organic matter. As a member of the Urban Perspectives: Processes and Projects research group, she ran (along with Albert Cuchí) the water-cycle course (2008-2011), as well the Projectes F Franges Urbanes Workshop (2008-2009). She currently teaches the Urban design I course for the Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and for the Master’s Degree in Landscape at the ETSAB. She is the author of several publications on ecological urbanism projects, landscape ecology and sustainable territorial transformation.
