Coque Claret

Architect and founder of the COAC’s AuS group

Architect and lecturer at the ETSAV-UPC Higher School of Architecture, in Sant Cugat. Claret is a founding member of the COAC’s AuS (Architects and Sustainability) group, and an expert in alternative construction and professional practice solutions in architecture. He champions and promotes theoretical and critical debates on issues relating to sustainable architecture and urban planning.

He is the driving force behind the PAuS research laboratory at the School of Architecture. In collaboration with Dani Calatayud and the AuS group, among others, he has also conducted studies on the ecological footprint in Catalonia, and was involved in planning and building the Catalan Ministry of Environment and Housing pavilion at the Construmat tade fair from 2007-2020.
As faculty advisor he took part in three editions of the Solar Decathlon Europe competition in the ETSAV-UPC team and was a researcher on the EU RELS project, for energy renovation in social housing in the Mediterranean area (2011-2015). He regularly works at CRiTT-ETSAV.
