Anna Puigjaner

Co-founder of the MAIO studio

Co-founder of the MAIO studio and author of the project Kitchenless City: Architectural Systems for Social Welfare, which received an award from Harvard University, she has exhibited her work at MoMA in New York and the Chicago Institute of Art. Her field of action within design and research is the domestic realm, with special attention on interiors and everyday items to meet the various needs of use. 

Anna Puigjaner graduated from the Barcelona Higher Technical School of Architecture (ETSAB-UPC), where she is presently a lecturer and member of the Habitar research group. She is also the author of the work Sistema d’espais públics de Barcelona, an unfinished urban infrastructure that requires citizen involvement for its definition.
