Eva Anduiza

Lecturer in Political Science and researcher

A graduate in Political Science and Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid, with a diploma in Data Analysis for Social Sciences from the University of Essex and a PhD in Political Science from the European University (Florence), she is a lecturer in Political Science and a researcher at the ICREA Acadèmia, at the UAB. 

Her areas of research deal with various aspects of citizen involvement in politics in advanced democracies. This includes interest in the causes and consequences of electoral participation, political protest, digital media and political attitudes and in survey methodologies and experimentation. She has recently focused her research in the attitudinal consequences of the economic crisis, with special emphasis on populist attitudes. Her current project explores the development of people’s attitudes towards gender equality and feminism.

She is the author of Internet, participació, mobilització: La implicació política de
la ciutadania en un nou entorn comunicatiu (2009) and Informe sobre la democracia en España 2015: Reformular la política (2015), among other books.
