Tania Adam

Journalist and cultural manager

Journalist and cultural manager specialising in the field of interculturality, immigration and African societies. A graduate in Business Administration and Management from the Complutense University of Madrid, she has worked in various cultural, awareness and research projects relating to Africa and its immigration, in Culture and Development and in the promotion of interculturality in Barcelona through culture in organisations such as the Interarts Foundation, the Intermón Oxfam Foundation, the Centre d'Estudis Africans i Interculturals de Barcelona and Barcelona City Council.

She is the founder and editor of the Ràdio Àfrica Magazine and a contributor to Radio Àfrica Betevé, Els Matins on TV3, La Directa, Playgrounder, Africa is a Country and Ctxt, among other media programmes. Her work focuses on analysis and thought generated around the black diasporas in the world, with special emphasis on African music and women. She is currently researching the decolonisation of futures.
