Jorge Tamames holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from Brown University, a Master's Degree in Political Economics and Communication from Fletcher (Boston) and a doctorate from University College Dublin. He spends his time between Ireland and Spain. 

He is the editor-in-chief of Política Exterior and contributes to other media publications such as Jacobin Magazine, Contexto y Acción and El Orden Mundial.
