A poet, writer and columnist for the newspaper NRC Handelsblad, the online version of NRC Next and De Morgen. In 2012, she was awarded the 25th C. Buddingh Prize for the collection De Steen Vreest Mij (Stone Fears Me). Among other prizes, she has won the Dutch Slam Poetry Championship, the CCS Cronin Scholarship (2013) and the E. du Perron Prize (2020).
