Aida C. Rodríguez

Lecturer and researcher in the field of restorative justice

A graduate in Philosophy from the Ramon Llull University (URL) and with a master’s degree in Citizenship and Human Rights from the University of Barcelona, she is Head of Projects in the Pere Tarrés Chair of Social and Restorative Justice (URL) where she also works with the Research Group on Innovation and Social Analysis (GIAS), as well as teaching Thought and Creativity at the La Salle campus of URL.

She is presently completing a PhD thesis on the ethical foundations of restorative justice. The main part of her research is in the area of social justice, with particular attention to some of the ethical questions our society must face, for example, migrations, the impact of technology, and the increasing gentrification of cities.

She is especially interested in the challenges confronted by the criminal law and penitentiary systems today.
