Video creation project launched by Ana Pfaff and Ariadna Ribas, students at the Catalan School of Film and Audio-Visuals (ESCAC) and from audio-visual montage. Established in Barcelona in 2004, Dostopos was intended to liberate the creative concerns of its promoters, staying clear of academicism and established rules within the educational environment. Pfaff and Ribas accordingly set up their workshop, an experimentation space for carrying out projects outside the commercial circuit. Their creations acquire the value of spontaneity, through the techniques of collage, montage, recollection and re-interpretation of images, an amateur point that feeds off personal experiences and which results from combining craft work with digital techniques.
