She has a degree in Cinema, specialising in editing, from the Cinema and Audiovisual School of Catalonia (ESCAC) and also a master’s degree in Theory of Contemporary Cinematography from the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF, Barcelona). She has edited some twenty feature films, short films, and other audiovisual pieces, notable among which are the feature films La noche que no acaba, by Isaki Lacuesta, and Júlia Ist, by Elena Martín; the short film Los desheredados, by Laura Ferrés, (winner of the prizes Best Short Film of the Critics’ Week, Cannes, 2017, as well as the Goya and the Gaudí awards in 2018), and the fictional series Hierro, directed by Jorge Coira.

After directing several short films, in 2018 she premiered her first feature film, Trinta Lumes (2017), which has received several awards. She is presently working on her second feature film Puerto Deseado, which is to be filmed between Argentina and Galicia. She combines her work as a filmmaker with teaching at the Pompeu Fabra University and the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and ESCAC, where she is presently head of the Documentary/Non-fiction Department.
