Film maker. His work lies on the periphery of non-fiction, with a strongly documentary and essay character. Ducal’s works have received numerous awards and recognition at film festivals around the world (Punt de Vista, Cinéma du Réel, Dokufest, D'A, Unicorn Awards, Goya Awards) and have been screened in cultural centres that include the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, the  Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA), the Vienna Museum of Modern Art (MUMOK) and the Hermitage in St Petersburg.

His notable productions include Life Between Worlds Not in Fixed Reality (2008), No es la imagen es el objeto (2009), Ensayo final para utopía (2012), Una película recordada (2015), Oleg y las raras artes (2016) and Carelia – Internacional con monumento (2019).
