Maite Garbayo
Researcher and writer PhD in History of Art from the University of the Basque Country and a Master's degree in History of Art from the Autonomous National University of Mexico. She has published work as an art critic in several exhibition catalogues and specialist media, including A*Desk, Exit Express, Mugalari and Petunia. She is the editor of the magazine Pipa, specialising in contemporary art, critical theory and feminism. She has taught at several institutions, both public (e.g. UPV, UPNA, UNAM) and private. She is a member of the Southern Conceptualisms Network. She is doing post-doctoral work at the Institute of Aesthetic Research at the Autonomous National University of Mexico, under the project Intersubjetivity and Transference: towards an aesthetic of the incalculable.
