Human animals
Cicle de conferències al CCCB
The way we consider animals is changing. In recent years, science has been accumulating proof demonstrating that we share a common inheritance with other species, and that the differences between us and other animals are more a question of degree than of type. However, for the most part, our relationship with animals continues to be one of dominion and exploitation. What does that say about our humanity? In a planet seriously damaged by our activities, we must urgently rethink our relationship with nature and the animal species that accompany us.
With Marta Segarra (29 October), Will Kymlicka (5 November), Corine Peluchon (12 November) and Rosi Braidotti (19 November).
