Corine Pelluchon
Philosopher and Professor of Philosophy at París-Est-Marne-La-Vallée University. She specialises in applied ethical and political philosophy and has focused in particular on bioethics, environmental philosophy and the politics of animalism. Pelluchon is the author of books such as Les Nourritures. Philosophie du corps politique (Seuil, 2015) and Manifeste Animaliste: politiser la cause animale (Alma, 2017). In the latter she makes clear the violence that animals are subjected to and places the debate at the centre of the political sphere. She recently published another book in French, Éthique de la considération (Seuil, 2018).
