Victòria Palma Barbany
(Figueres, 1965)
She started studying music at the Figueres Conservatory and expanded her studies at the Autonomous University of Barcelona with a musicology degree. At the age of 25, she started her career at the classical music station Catalunya Música, where she worked in different sections and ran several programmes. She received a RAC Award for her programme “Dies de Música” in 2005, the Cadaqués Carles Rahola Journalism Award in 2010 for “Cadaqués ad libitum”, while “Femení i singulars” earned her the ADPC Non-Sexist Communication Best Practice Award in 2011. These days she continues to work as a presenter and editor for various programmes and musical research projects.
