Fina Birulés

Professor of Philosophy at the University of Barcelona, where she runs the seminar «Philosophy and Gender». Her research has focused on feminist theory, paying special attention to the works of Hannah Arendt. She has translated several philosophical works, written numerous essays and edited collective volumes on the thought of Arendt and other contemporary thinkers. Her most recent publications notably include Entreactes. Entorn del pensament, la política i el feminisme (El Trabucaire, 2014) and the chapter “Hannah Arendt y la figura de Sócrates” in the collective book Hannah Arendt. El arte de leer, edited by Lorena Fuster and Matías Sirczuk (Eudeba y Katz Editores, 2017).
