Jean-Louis Laville

Professor of Solidarity Economy at the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts (CNAM) and European coordinator for the Karl Polanyi Institute of Political Economy. Founding member and general secretary of the European network EMES (which organises regular international scientific events on social innovation) and RILESS (Network of Latin American Researchers on the Social and Solidarity Economy). He has links with international research centres such as CRIDIS (Interdisciplinary Research Centre, Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium) and CRISES (Interdisciplinary Research Centre in Humanities and Social Sciences, Montreal, Canada).
