Xavier Antich

(La Seu d’Urgell, 1962)

Philosopher and lecturer in Aesthetic Ideas at the University of Girona, where he runs the Master’s degree course in Communication and Criticism. He was the Director of MACBA’s Independent Studies Programme and is currently the Chair of the Tàpies Foundation’s Board of Trustees. He has worked as a PhD programme lecturer at the Iberian and Latin American Cultures Department at Stanford University, at the Philosophy Faculty at the University of Barcelona and at the Blanquerna Communication Sciences Faculty at the University of Ramon Llull.
