César Rendueles

PhD in philosophy. Lecturer in sociology at the Complutense University. He was a founding member of the Ladinamo cultural intervention group. For eight years, he was in charge of the cultural coordination of the Círculo de Bellas Artes (Society of Fine Arts) of Madrid. He has edited classical texts of Karl Marx, Walter Benjamin, Karl Polanyi, Jeremy Bentham and Antonio Gramsci. In 2013, he published Sociofobia. El cambio político en la era de la utopía digital, in 2015, Capitalismo canalla, and in 2016, En bruto. Una reivindicación del materialismo histórico and, with Joan Subirats, Los (bienes) comunes. ¿Oportunidad o espejismo? His works have been published in a dozen different countries. He frequently writes in the literary supplement of the El País newspaper and in other media.
