Niki Giannari

Writer of short stories and prose poems. She lives in Thessalonica and is an activist with a group that works to help refugees. She co-directed with Maria Kourkouta the documentary Spectres Are Haunting Europe (Greece, 2016), filmed in the Idomeni refugee camp, and wrote a poem included in the book Pasar, cueste lo que cueste (Shangrila, 2018), which comes with an essay by Georges Didi-Huberman. The book reflects on concepts such as statelessness, migrants and refugees in the wake of the arrival of refugees in Europe.
