Joan Gómez

(Barcelona, 1973)

Holds a degree in sociology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). Has collaborated with the Sociology of Religion Research team in researching the Mapa Religiós de Catalunya, [Religious Map of Catalonia] published in the book Les altres religions. Minories religioses a Catalunya (Mediterrània, 2004). Currently works for the Catalan Government Directorate-General of Religious Affairs and is secretary of the Advisory Council for Religious Diversity. Trainer in religious diversity management for education and social services staff and police officers. Member of Justícia i Pau and collaborator with the magazine Dialogal.
