Nick Srnicek

Lecturer in Digital Economy at King's College of London. He is author of Platform Capitalism (Polity, 2016) and co-author, with Alex Williams, of Inventing the Future: Postcapitalism and a World Without Work (Verso, 2015). He is currently writing After Work: The Fight For Free Time (Verso, 2019) with Helen Hester.
His research considers the interactions between changes in economies, changes in technology and changes in political organisation. Srnicek's work seeks to analyse the threats and opportunities arising from the new digital panorama and to outline possible paths to radical policy.
