Marta Porto
Journalist specialising in the politics of communication, art and culture, and curator of spaces, exhibitions and artistic projects. She advises international organisations, governments, companies and institutions on programmes and policies. Previously she was and adviser to the State Culture Council in Rio Grande do Sul State and Secretary of Citizenship and Cultural Diversity at Brasil’s Ministry of Culture, She is the author, among other books, of Juventude, cultura e cidadania (UNESCO and ISER, 2002), Aids e teatro, 15 dramaturgias de prevenção (Senac Rio, 2004), Investimento Privado, balanço e desafios (Editora Sesc, 2005), Olhares femininos, mulheres brasileiras (Editora Sesc, 2006), De mãos dadas, experiências de sucesso em empreendedorismo feminino (Ed. Sesc, 2006) and Nós do Morro, 20 Anos (XBrasil, BNDES, 2008).
