Emili Manzano Mulet

(Palma, 1964)
Journalist and TV producer. Holds a degree in Spanish philology from the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB). Has worked as a journalist for the newspapers ABC, Diario de Mallorca, La Vanguardia and El País. Directed and presented the literary programme Saló de lecturaon betevé, the municipal TV channel, between 2001 and 2005 and fronted the literary programme L’hora del lector from 2007 to 2011. Has also produced and presented the programme Amb filosofia on Channel 33. Is the editor and translator of an anthology of reflections from the philosopher Alain Badiou, entitled Mira a lo lejos (RBA) and the author of a book of fiction entitled Pinyols d’aubercoc (L’Avenç).
