Director of the Arab and Mediterranean World Department at the IEMed, Chief Editor of the journal afkar/idees and co-director of the Observatory of Islamophobia in the Media. With a bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpretation (UAB), she lived in Damascus to perfect her Arab studies.
