Juan José Lahuerta
Architect and lecturer in Art History and Architecture at the ETSAB. Previously he was a member of the Collegio Docenti della Scuola Dottorati at the Venice University Institute of Architecture (IUAV) and holder of the King Juan Carlos I Chair of Spanish Culture and Civilisation at New York University
He has published books on the history of art and architecture in the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as anthologies on Gaudí, Giorgio De Chirico and Le Corbusier, and he has also edited the volume of essays for the Complete Works of Salvador Dalí.
Together with Antonio Pizza, he was the founder and director of CRC. Galeria d’Arquitectura (Barcelona, 1985-1987), and has also been an exhibition curator and advisor for the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía de Madrid (2004-2005), senior curator at the Museu Picasso de Barcelona (2010-2011) and head of exhibitions at the National Art Museum MNAC (2013-2016).
