Women breaking barriers. Transforming Mediterranean cities

A photographic exhibition including the finalist pictures from the competition organised by the Foundation of Euro-Mediterranean Women (FFEM) for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The images show the stories of women in Algeria, Belgium, Egypt, Israel, Morocco, Palestine and Turkey; women who break away for gender roles, fight against inequalities and call for freedom of speech.

The exhibition is organised by the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed).
