Gabriela Wiener

Writer, poet and journalist. Considered a successor of the so-called ‘gonzo’ journalism of Hunter S. Thompson, she narrates her work in the first person where she is also a character in her chronicles. In her first book, Sexographies (Melusinas, 2008 - Spanish version), she explores different aspects of the world of sexuality and reproduction, from sexuality to egg donation. Her second book, Nine Moons (Literatura Random House, 2010), is the diary of a pregnant woman that explores the myths and fears of childbirth and maternity. Wiener frequently collaborates with various publications such as El País, El diario.es and Etiqueta negra, among others.
